The Island - You are your best hope.

You are about to head off on your dream vacation, your bags are pack with all of you favorite  things. What could possibly go wrong?



Packing time - What should I take? My i-pad? Do I need any toys? So looking forward to my dream vacation.

Making Tens - a challenging game of quick addition skills.

The Olympics Rio 2016

What an amazing world event, where the finest athletics compete for their countries.
In class and to help us learn about sports, sportsmanship and the human body we are making sculptures. 




We begin by taking a square piece of tin foil.

Ava, it isn't that hard. Cut and gently press together each piece, shaping the head, and body. The the arms and legs.


Just like so - the running man.

Beginning of School



Welcome to the 2016/17 academic year.
Ibu Mercy and I are pleased to have a new group of students joining our Grade 2 students - Nasya, Kyle and Yunchae.

Ava, Kaitlin, Zo, Remy, Dinov, Pramiti and Janvi make up this awesome group of learners.





So let's begin by creating some art and posters to help us all learn about ourselves and how to learn in our great classroom and school.

Under The Microscope



We put different kind of leaves under the microscope.
We can see that each of them has a lot of small holes on it surface.
We agreed that they use those small holes to breath.


Beansprout

We observing how beansprout grow.
  We put cotton inside the plastic pack, sprinkle some water and put some beansprout on it.
We learned that living things like beansprout need some water, air and sun to grow and live.
